Scrabble Kenya

Many youths in Kenya yearn for interaction with their peers, interaction brought by more than just the usual…of catching up, taking pictures and maybe sharing a glass or two of their favourite drinks at a certain local joint. Many of these too yearn to engage their peers in more, more like games and sports. It’s in this respect that I come to you with the opportunity brought by the Scrabble Kenya Players Association. Yes, you heard me right. We have a whole association made just for word lovers, for word enthusiasts and wordaholics alike. It may not be known to all but it sure is known by some of a group of players and enthusiasts alike.

The association opens up players from different parts of the country from different regions,to each other…to compete and learn from one another. Its through this association that we get to have individuals or teams, representing Kenya in tournaments held beyond our borders, with tremendous results.

Several tournaments are always held in different counties and at different times, with regular rankings of the players. Many may see this as a small fete but to us, it’s the greatest ever for we get to test our word skills with various individuals, learning more from them and bettering ourselves in all aspects possible. The association is open to all and sundry, from students in primary schools, high school, universities and the general public. To be a part of this and join in the adventure is quite simple, so why don’t you join us today and let’s have fun making words.
