Scrabble Kenya invites scrabble players of different age groups and proficiency in the game to a National Scrabble Tournament to be held on the weekend of 7th and 8th October 2023 at Friends Hotel. The field will be split into 3 divisions: division A players rated >1299, division B players rated 700 -1299, and division C for players rated ≤ 699. A total of 18 games will be played in division A and B, and 16 in division C. CSW2021 will be used. This is the 3rd ECASA qualifier.
Registration fees for the divisions (in KES) are Div. A-1500, Div. B-1000, Div. C-750. College students will pay 750 in Div. A, 500 in Div. B and C. Monies can be paid via M-PESA: Buy goods and services, till number: 974346 or be deposited in our KCB account name: Scrabble Kenya, Number: 1124759239 at Industrial Area branch. Send registered player name to Treasurer Fredrick Gitagia on 0721712047 by 11.59 am on 6th October 2023 to enable ample time for coordination. Players should clear their annual affiliation fee of Kes 500. Schools are encouraged to pay annual school affiliation fees of Ks. 5,000.
