The Regional Championships for Africa(ECASA) is normally held every year and Kenya has always taken team Gold.
Below is the performance of the ecasa editions

At the local level the game has tremendously grown in leaps and bounds. One of our greatest scrabblers has persistently stated ,”We are ready to pass on the baton to the young generation but they have to work hard for it.” In this regard the Universities have not been left behind in the Scrabble bandwagon. Our Universities have taken part in the University Opens , KUSA games and the EAUGC games. In the last edition of the EAUGC games Kyambogo University of Uganda clinched Gold in the men and women categories whereas Masinde Muliro University settled for Silver in both categories.

We have also not left behind the future leaders of our country and thus under the stewardship of Bernard Amuke we have taken this noble game to Secondary Schools. Kenya has at one point fielded a Youth team in the World Youth Championships that was held in Malaysia in 2017

The game has also been devolved in the counties and the prominent county leaders have not been left behind in playing this noble game.In the near future Scrabble Kenya hopes to spread its wings to Primary School level .In this regard we are engaging the Ministry of Education to have the game embedded into the school curriculum. We are also in the process of bringing Corporate bodies on board to assist in growing the game.
