KENYAN PLAYERS

Qualified players are expected to pay 50$ for the event which is equivalent to KSHs. 6500 applying CBK base rate of 130. 
SK will however subsidize this so that the players pay up only 30$ (KSHs. 3900) and SK tops up the 20$ (KSHs. 2600). 

 The Non-qualified players are expected to pay up 60$. (KSHs. 7800). 

 
The side event players will pay KSHs. 2000.

NON-KENYAN PLAYERS

Qualified players are expected to pay 50$ for the event which is equivalent to KSHs. 6500 applying CBK base rate of 130. 

The Non-qualified players are expected to pay up 60$. (KSHs. 7800). 

There is also a country fee of $100 (KSHs. 13000) per country for the main event

For the players in the main event (qualified / non-qualified and reserves) there is a 10% discount for those who will pay before Midnight, 2nd of April 2023.

The early bird rates will be as below:

• Qualified early bird – KSHs. 3510 
• Non-qualified early bird – KSHs. 7020 

* Discounts only apply to the main event.

* Qualified ECASA players from Kenya are automatically disqualified from the side event. 

* The main event and side event are WESPA and PANASA Rated. 

All students are treated as adults thus they are required to pay the registration fee that befalls the country they are playing for.

Players in the main event who have received a wild card  are expected to pay 50$ for the event which is equivalent to KSHs. 6500 applying CBK base rate of 130.

There is no country quota in the main event. Any player can play as long as they have cleared the registration fees.

The main event is 27 games long

• 7th April, 2023 - 10 Games
• 8th April, 2023 - 10 Games
• 9th April, 2023 - 7 Games

It will use the below pairng format:

1. Lagged Australian pairing from round 1-12 with no repeats.
2. Lagged Australian pairing from round 13-20 with only one repeat allowed.
3. KOTH pairing from round 21-27. 

The side event is 18 games long

• 8th April, 2023 - 8 Games
